Safe ListsA "safe list" is a mailing list with subscribers that have agreed to accept advertising from each other. Safe lists are useful because their members will not complain about spam when other members send them promotional material. When you join such a list, use a web-based email account for your email address, and earn a few bucks while you read the email these programs generate. I use zWallet for this, and avoid cluttering up my primary mailbox. Every income stream counts! In truth, I rarely read them, although some interesting opportunities do show up from time to time. I simply open them (to make sure I get paid) and then delete them. The most valuable "safe list" is the one you create yourself. When you visit successful marketing sites, note that every single one of them offers a form for capturing email addresses. You'll find mine just below the Table of Contents, on the first page of this book. Operating your own newsletter or "ezine" is the best way to establish a good relationship with your prospective customers.
Joined March 5, 2001: $20. As of March 11, 2001, I have earned $90. I have had very good results using Pro-List, with a response rate of 10% per mailing!
Three levels of membership are available. Entry level is free, and pays a commission when someone you sponsor ugrades to a paid membership. Good residual income potential provides the icing for this tasty cake. RECOMMENDED.
Smart-List offers a trial service which lets you send inexpensive ads to the entire list. I used this service to post two ads. Ghostsurfers. They were mailed to 1400 Smart-List members, 24 hours apart, and the results were disappointing, to say the least, with nary a clickthrough. The same ad, mailed to Pro-List earlier, had earned me five new members. I have no explanation for this. For full details, visit the site. | ||
