After using the ROIbot FFA Submission
Server for 30 days, my advice regarding FFA sites is simple: Don't waste your time
- FFA sites are nothing more than automated lead generators for
the folks smart enough to own them.
Here is a way to put FFA sites to work for you, without spending a cent. The trick, my friends, is to be the one collecting the leads and contacting the prospects, rather than the one receiving them! I posted a minimum of 20,000 FFA ads per day for 14 days, for a total of 2,800,000 ads. I used ROIbot redirection URLs to track responses to each ad, and received exactly one. I used a "throwaway" email address on a UNIX server which automatically deleted each email message received. Two weeks after halting the automated FFA submissions, the account was still receiving, and deleting, hundreds of email messages daily. I think you have better things to do with your time and resources. Having said that, I realize that some folks just won't take my word for it, and feel that some advice is in order. If you are going to make submissions to FFA sites a part of your advertising regimen, make sure that you use an automated submission server like ROIbot's. If you don't, the likelihood that anyone will actually see your FFA posts is zero. The ROIbot FFA Submission Server can be a powerful tool in the right hands, because it permits you to add your own FFA sites to the ROIbot FFA Database. This can generate a lot of direct postings to your sites, and that means doubling your market exposure. Having said that, however, I feel duty-bound to point out that there is a definite advantage to hosting an FFA site. When someone posts their advertisment to your site, it will send them your promotional message, and offer you an opportunity to develop another income stream. For that reason, I have included a few links you can use to get started.
You may program the system to send confirmation emails immediately, which is the least effective method, or you may choose to have the system simply collect the addresses for you, and then send your emails out using a 2 to 7-day delay. I prefer a 5-7 day delay, and have found it effective. Finally, those of you using the Aureate Group Mailer can download the email addresses and send them out whenever you wish.
Like MDFFA, The SimpleSystem FFA page includes a server-side emailer, which means you can send your ad out to all your daily prospects the day after they post their link to the network. This means your message is less likely to be lost in the initial flood of confirmation email from the competition. |
