Click Exchanges

Click exchanges are targeted search engines based on the reality that visits to websites - clicks - are a valuable commodity. Members devote time surfing, through the exchange, and earn a minimum of one visit to their site in exchange for a visit to some other site. In addition, most click exchanges offer various other ways to earn credits, from playing games to straight purchase.

While the clicks generated are easy enough to earn, I don't think they deliver quality visits, and you should not expect a high rate of success. Marketing on the net is primarily a numbers game, so the more hits (of any kind) that you can generate, the higher your chances of success.

I have found these systems very effective in building my contact list, because I always try to offer users an opportunity to subscribe to my newsletter. Visitors will often sign up for the newsletter even though the product sold on the website may not interest them at the time.
